8 5/8" Highly Developed 3/4 Groove NEBO Axe found in Saline Co, Mo. w/ 4x COA's
Top End Highly Developed 3/4 Groove NEBO Axe found in Saline Co, Mo. w/ 4x COA’s. This is one of the best ANCIENT Nebo Axes we have seen come out of the Midwest. It was found in the 1940’s by Richard Cumz Sec 13, 51N 21W in Saline County, Missouri. It is made of quartzite. 2 of 4 authenticators correctly called it Quartzite the other two called it Granite. Either way it is above and beyond what most of us would dream of finding on our excursions across the countryside looking for stone artifacts. Axes like this one are extremely rare even in the areas where they are typically found. Ex Richard Cumz, Ray Arnett and Ryan Keele Collections. Comes with Ryan Keele, Roy Motley, Maury Meadows and Jackson COA’s.
Condition: Ancient Authentic
