3 1/4" Neolithic Jade Bat Stone Pendant found in NE China
3 1/4" Neolithic Jade Bat Stone Pendant found in NE China. This is an awesome Relic. It has very fine workmanship. The ancient artisan that made this piece done so with pride showing off his artistry in the outstanding detail incorporated in to its manufacture. A picture can only show so much. There are little ridges all up and down the inside folds of the wings and the eyes, ears and nose are all nicely defined. Often in ancient artistry you have to use your imagination but this one is nicely defined as a bat. Exhibits good patination and no signs of modern machining.
