Vintage 1930's Filippino Balisong Butterfly Knife
Vintage 1930’s Filippino Balisong Butterfly Knife. 1930’s is a guess. It could be a little older or a little newer. Most of the matches that were close on this knife on the web were dated pre World War 2. The only mark this knife has is PHILLIPINES. It is in very good or excellent condition for its age. Handle inserts are unchipped, blade appears very little if at all used, there is a bit of tarnish to the metal and the locking mechanism works as it is supposed to. It measures 6 1/4" with the blade out and 3 1/2" Closed.
