5 1/2" Burlington Spade found in SE Iowa
5 1/2" Burlington Spade with good polish on the bit. This piece has a light green or yellow stain on it. It appears to be an old one that someone tried to clean with something they shouldn’t have or it laid in something that left that color on its surface. Ryan Keele considered this an old piece based on manufacture and use wear but would not paper it with the stain on it. As it was consigned we made no attempt to remove whatever it is that discolored this piece and that will fall to its new owner.
