1979 Schrade USA SC500 Scrimshaw Folding Knife W/ Sheath & Box (Mint or Near Mint)
1979 Schrade USA SC500 Scrimshaw Folding Knife W/ Sheath & Box – NIB- Etched Fighting Buffalos – Scrimshawed Delrin Handles. Mint or near mint Condition in the Original Box with Leather Sheath – Approx. 9 3/8 inches overall – 3 3/4 Blade – Still has factory edge. Never sharpened, carried, or cleaned. No chips or cracks in handles. This knife was originally purchased circa 1979. The collector bought all of the knives that were in the store display, lightly oiled the steel and kept them put up for the past 40 years with their cases separate. We wiped the oil off for picturing purposes and any new protective coat will have to be applied by the new owner. There was a little hardened oil in spots I couldn’t easily get off is why I say near mint – Otherwise Mint.
