Native American Artifacts, Arrowheads
Lot 172:
3 1/2" Paleo Ovoid Square Knife w/ Keele COA
3 1/2" Paleo Ovoid Square Knife found in Cole County, Missouri. This is one of the more interesting flint artifacts I have held recently. If it didn’t have notches it would be a square knife and if it wasn’t so squared it would be a notched ovoid. Its a piece that will get a lot of different opinions. It was found in a creek where 2 other square knives and one clovis were found but its the way its made that leans us to call it a nontypical name. It appears to be made of a mottled Mozarkite. Ex John Johnson Collection. Comes with Ryan Keele Certificate of Authentication.
