Early 1900's Western Electric Telephone Lineman's Generator
Early 1900’s Western Electric Telephone Lineman’s Generator 10000. Only makers marks on this piece are "Western Electric Company" and "10000" embossed/etched in the wood. "Very sturdy built piece. Very good condition for its age. Has a steel carrying handle on top with a functioning hand crank used to deliver an electric current. Connectors are still intact and functional. Blemishes here and there from use and time but still very sturdy. These were often used for detonation of explosives in mines. Measures 6 1/2" by 5 3/4" by 5 1/4".
