1917 WWI 75 MM Trench Art Argonne Artillery Shell. This shell commemorates the Meuse–Argonne offensive which was a major part of the final Allied offensive of World War I that stretched along the entire Western Front. It was fought from September 26, 1918, until the Armistice of November 11, 1918, a total of 47 days. It is marked 75 DE C MAI 68L 17 S.D on the bottom of the shell. Shell is 13 3/8" Tall.
