1916 Set of 2 WWI Trench Art Argonne & Verdun
1916 Set of 2 WWI Trench Art Argonne & Verdun. These two were made to be together by the same artist. Artisticly crimped and embossed with what appears to have been a tight mesh. The Argonne Shell reads 554 on the bottom with a cursive R and the Verdun shell reads 75 DEC D 489L 16 D with a DB stamped on the edge. Both measure 13 3/8" Tall.
