WWI (1916) 8 CM BERNDORF TRENCH ART SHELL CASING. If we researched this correctly this is a rare Austrian Shell Casing. The artistry is not similar to most of the other shells from this collection. There is a wide aray of embossing incorporated in this piece. On the face of the casing below the floral patterns it reads R. D. Guerra 15 . 18.. On the base of the shell CS. Fecit is engraved. This was likely a memorial shell casing for a fallen soldier. The ammo info on the bottom reads BERNDORF 1916 1032 8 cm M5. It measures 11" Tall
