1916 160 MM German Trench Art Ash Tray or Bowl. This piece bares the German Cross on the front. We are only guessing on what its function was. Ash Tray, Candy Dish, Nut Bowl….could have been used for a number of things. The base of the shell PATRONFARBRIK KARLESRUHE 367 MAI 1916 Sp 255. It measures 6 5/8" by 3 1/2" tall. From a very large artillery shell.
