WW1 Battle of LES EPARGUS 75MM TRENCH ART ARTILLERY CASING. This piece commemorates the Battle of "LES PARGUS 1917". It is adorned with flowers, vines and a symbol we are not familiar with. Les Epargus was the end of a ridgeline dominating the vast Woëvre plain that opens up towards Metzans was the subject of terrible fighting, especially in 1915. The base of the shell reads 15 DEC RS L2186 16. It measures It measures just under 11 1/4" Tall
