Victorian Hand Carved Mother of Pearl Cigar Box
Victorian Era Hand Carved Mother of Pearl Cigar or Cigarette Box. Made in a time when cheroot small cigars were kept in beautiful cases. The mother of pearl top on the box is in very good condition. It depicts flowers and a butterfly. The side baffles are leather and the interior is red silk. This cigar box was most definitely used in its day. The baffles have some wear but are still intact. The interior silk is still in place but worn as shown in picture. The bottom of the case/box has a chip in the mother of pearl. A great display piece. 3 1/4 by 2" by 3/4"
