1904 ST. LOUIS WORLDS FAIR MEDAL
This vintage coin or medal comes from the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition which is also known as the Worlds Fair Exposition held in St. Louis, Missouri in 1904. It is a souvenir from the expo and features the busts of both Jefferson and Napoleon on the obverse while the reverse shows a relief map of the United States with an outline of the land affected by the Louisiana Purchase. This Medal was at one time worn on a necklace thus has a hole in the top of it. 1.25" and weighs 16.4 grams.
