Pre-Columbian Mayan Decoratively Incised Pottery Cup
Pre-Columbian Mayan Decoratively Incised Pottery Cup. The T shaped glyph means "Precious Breath". Ruins with T shaped masonry Portholes in Palanque Mx and Altun Ha Bz face toward Royal Tombs. Exhibits correct manufacture and excellent patination. Surface has some wear from time and the elements. Solid pot with no restoration. Partial cracks that travel downward from the rim as shown in photos. Measures 3 1/2" Diameter and 7 1/8" tall approximately. From the late Tom Moxley Collection.
