Highly Detailed with Incised Patterns Mossi Wooden Stool Burkina Faso Chair or Stool – Mid-Century or Older. Hand Carved from one piece of wood. Excellent condition. Traditionally, stools like this served as both seating and headrests. With a head and 4 legs this stool represents a person crawling on all fours. Very nice use polish to the seat. Measures 14 3/4" by 8" tall by 5 7/8" From the Chuck and Eileen Hoffman Collection. Chuck and his wife spent most of their lives teaching in various countries bringing back interesting and often old pieces from the cultures they shared their lives with.
