1800’s Lithograph by Daumier – French Political Satire – "M’ame Bonneau!" Honore Daumier, the renowned French caricaturist, painter, and sculptor, was prominently associated with the French newspaper "Le Charivari". This lithograph was created in 1838 by Daumier. His satirical works and political cartoons were a significant feature of this publication during the 19th century. Daumier’s illustrations often critiqued the political and social issues of his time, making him a notable figure in the world of journalism and art. Excellent condition for its age. The newspaper print can clearly be seen through the paper validating its origin. 12" by 9 1/2" approximately in a 18 1/2" by 15 1/2" frame. "M’ame Bonneau! M’ame Bonneau! I love my soul Bonneau!
