Old Saudi Bedouin Turquois & Silver Ring from Damam Saudi Arabia – 1950’s or Older. Excellent condition. Finger size is approximately size 6 US. From the Najd. Najd is the geographic center of Saudi Arabia, accounting for about a third of the country’s modern population. It is the home of the House of Saud, from which they pursued unification with Hejaz under Saudi rule since the time of the Emirate of Diriyah. This toe ring is most likely late 19th Century to 1950’s. It is in excellent condition for its age with similar stone settings to older Navajo Turquoise Jewelry that was made here in America. Intricately engraved and sturdily constructed. This Ring weighs 11 grams. The faceting of the turquoise in the silver is very similar to Old Pawn Navajo Jewelry. The ring was crafted to the shape of the stone. Excellent condition for its age. Size 7.
