Pre-Columbian Mayan Tripod Rattle Bowl
Pre-Columbian Mayan Tripod Rattle Bowl. Solid pot with no restoration. The legs have pebbles or pottery balls which make this piece rattle when it is shaken. Likely used for ceremonial use. 2 tones of faded paint can be still seen on this pot. 8 1/2" Diameter and 3 1/2" tall. Ex Tom Moxley Collection.
