Highly Developed Pre-Columbian Mayan Deity Cylinder Pottery Vessel
Highly Developed Pre-Columbian Mayan Deity Cylinder Pottery Vessel. This vessel tells a story. Each side depicts a Mayan sitting. One side depicts the person sitting holding a human head looking at it. The vessel has some stress cracks that have been reinforced with something on the interior leaving the inside with a rough texture. Very nice display piece. Measures 6 1/8" Diameter and 5 7/8" tall approximately. From the late Tom Moxley collection.
