1856 The Power of Kindness Inculcating the Principles of Benevolance & Love by Charles Morley. Published by Fowler and Wells, New York 1856. An interesting book that was presented to a student by a teacher in 1860 for good conduct. She put a presentation note on the first inpage as well as another note to the last inpage in the book. The note in the front was likely made and given because of his bad behavior and the last note as reward after returning the book and completing the school year with better behavior. Book is a bit rough but still intact internally. Cover has wear with age toning and foxing internally.
