Egypt: Descriptive, Historical, and Picturesque. Volumes I and II, complete set by G. Ebers. Published by Cassell and Company, London, 1885. Publishers original decorative gold gilt brown cloth hardbacks – Folio Size. Gold gilt to all page ends. Cover condition is good with some shelf wear as shown in photos. Internally very good condition. Pages are still very nice with minor age toning. Inside cover of volume 1 has some seperation of insheet as shown in photo. Inside cover of volume 2 has minor seperation of its insheet as shown in photo. Large books that are a good representation of the artistry that and detail that went in to more prized books of the era.
