JAPAN by Bristol, Horace. Published by East-West at Toppan Press, Tokyo, Japan, 1949. 1st Edition. 14 booklets on the arts and culture of Japan housed in a black portfolio with bone clasp closures. The booklet titles are Geisha, Rice, Tokyo, Honeymoon, Lacquer, Pottery, Pearls, Hatsushima, Architecture, Children, Tokaido, Crafts, Religion, and Silk. This was an experimental book made after the war to share information about the Japanese ways, culture, tradition and arts. Very good condition. Cover has a little wear and has served its purpose well keeping the booklets all together.
