Pre-Columbian 4 1/4" Tripod Bowl Circa 300BC-300AD. Earthenware originating in the Costa Rica area. Referred as a Shaman’s Tripod Vessel or Olla and with the Bird Head legs there is no doubt this was a very important vessel. The painted orange surface with designs on the outside are faint but still there. A very solid pot with no restoration. 7 3/4" Wide.
