16" Traditional Lobi Water Vessel form West Africa. These hand crafted terracotta pots were used in homes and temples for everyday water storage and ceremonial purposes. The vessels are typically hand-built using coiling techniques by Lobi women artists in the regions of Burkina Faso and Ghana. This vessel has a crack on the side shown in pictures.
