Wood framed display containing 53 stone arrowheads and projectile points recovered in the Illinois and Missouri region. The group includes examples spanning the Archaic through Woodland periods, representing a range of point types, materials, and flaking traditions used by Indigenous cultures over thousands of years.
The points vary in size, form, and workmanship, with the longest measuring approximately 2 1/2 inches. Several pieces bear handwritten notes indicating the specific find locations, adding valuable provenance and historical context. The collection is arranged in a 12 x 18 inch wooden display frame, which is included with the lot.
