Buyer's premium:

A large and well preserved crinoid fossil slab collected in Missouri, featuring a prominent crinoid stem impression surrounded by numerous smaller fossil fragments embedded throughout the matrix. The slab is composed of fossil rich Mississippian age limestone, a formation deposited in the shallow inland seas that covered much of the Midwest over 330 million years ago.

The main fossil shows the classic segmented column structure characteristic of crinoids, an extinct marine echinoderm related to modern starfish and sea urchins. The surrounding matrix contains abundant shell pieces and marine debris, making this an attractive and educational display piece for collectors, classrooms, or natural history enthusiasts.
