Pair of two chromolithograph postcards from the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition St Louis Worlds Fair both depicting dramatic scenes from the fairs popular Naval Show attraction
One card is unused and the other is postally used with a clear October 30 1904 St Louis cancel well within the fairs official operating dates April 30 to December 1 1904
These early color lithographs showcase the vivid layered printing typical of high quality postcard production of the era with rich tones and detailed artwork
