Lot of Soviet Labor & Construction Merit Badges and Medals — USSR, 1950s–1980s
A mixed collection of Soviet era labor and construction merit badges dating from the 1950s to the 1980s. The lot includes multiple Excellent Worker of Socialist Competition badges from various ministries construction achievement medals industrial worker awards and commemorative pieces. Several items are specific to major Soviet building projects including badges for Tashkent construction the Oktabrsky mine and the 600 mill rolling mill. Also included are ministry issued awards from Minpromstroy and Minmontazhspetsstroy along with a badge for the Soviet Army Construction Troops.
These medals and badges represent the USSRs system of recognizing industrial productivity construction achievements and socialist labor excellence. A well rounded grouping suitable for collectors of Soviet history Cold War memorabilia or labor award insignia.
