Cherokee Handmade Doll & Teepee Set, Mid-Century Craft
Handmade mid 20th century Cherokee craft set featuring an 11 in fabric doll dressed in traditional style attire with fringe and beadwork accompanied by a matching miniature teepee measuring just over 9 in tall. The doll includes a beaded headband and patterned clothing typical of Cherokee souvenir craftsmanship from the period. The teepee is constructed of painted fabric over wooden supports a common form used in mid century Native made tourist pieces.
Condition. Light wear consistent with age. The teepee has a small tare as shown in photos.
A charming example of Native made mid century craftwork.
