Pair of Fossil Horn Corals, 350–420 Million Years Old
A matched pair of fossilized horn corals Rugosa each measuring approximately 5 inches in length. These ancient marine fossils date to roughly 350 to 420 million years ago long before modern coral species evolved. Both specimens display the classic conical form central calyx and radial septa characteristic of horn corals with well preserved internal structure and surface detail.
These fossils represent early solitary corals from prehistoric seas and make excellent display pieces for collectors educators or anyone interested in deep geological history.
Condition report. Both fossils are solid and well preserved with no restoration. Natural weathering and mineralization present as expected for authentic Paleozoic specimens.
