GERMAN WWI Eisengiesserei & Schlossfabrik A-G Velbert. Bears a crown mark above the number W 17 on the blade ridge. Eisengiesserei und Schlossfabrik A-G Velbert was a German company that produced bayonets during World War I. They manufactured the S84/98 II bayonet, which was used by the German military. This company is known for producing high-quality weapons and is considered a rare maker of WWI German bayonets. Very good condition for its age. Mechanism for rifle attachment still works. A piece of WW1 Nazi weaponry. Measures 15 1/8" Sheath is metal. It’s in very good shape less its chipped paint on the surface.
