5 3/4" Rhyolite Chisel found in SW Missouri
5 3/4" Rhyolite Chisel found in SW Missouri. Likely used for chiseling wood. The pointed end has been thickened from many impacts which would have been from either using it for pecking or being struck by another blunt object for chiseling. Large example for the tool type. Ex Tim Patrick Collection
